Woah i think it’s been a while since i’ve been able to leave a request for you haha. But anw~ how bout teenage!Naru teaching Kagome and Handa’s kids some funny tricks and Handa going ballistic about his kids ending up like her and Kagome just finding it all hilarious and stuff 😂
I need to see a teenage!Naru! That would be a whole new hell for Handa ha-ha!
Headcanons:
- The first time Handa and Kagome noticed their first child having similar behavior and speech to Naru it was when they found their child hiding in small places like under the sink, closets, and it always ended up scaring the living hell of Handa.
- Kagome thinks it’s funny each time it happens, but Handa tells Kagome she shouldn’t be laughing when they both know their kid is doing it on purpose.
- Another time they found their child acting like Naru was when they were taking a walk together and their child pushed Handa into the water and calling him ‘sensei’.
- Handa immediately knew it was Naru and there was no other culprit.
- That same day Handa went after the teen who was, of course, in their home drinking ramune and using his calligraphy tools for fun.
- Naru: “Ah! Sensei-!”
- Handa, holding out their child from their head pushed them into Naru’s face. “Don’t ‘sensei’ me, Naru! Stop influencing our child with your tactics!”
- Kagome: “I find it cute.”
- Handa: “You aren’t helping, Kagome!”
- Handa will still kick out Naru if she is only causing trouble at home.
- But what he does not expect is his child escaping to join Naru on adventures outside.
- Haru: “O-Oi! You don’t have permission!”
- Kagome: “Let them go, they consider Naru-chan their friend.”
- Haru: “There is nothing natural of our child of six being friends with a teen.”
- When Handa and Kagome are teaching their child kanji or Handa pointing at kanji he writes in calligraphy, they are shocked to hear their child giving them a reading, but it is completely wrong.
- Turns out Naru has been teaching their child kanji, but doesn’t mean it is correct.
- Naru’s worst subject is Japanese.
for the ship thing: reigen arataka (mp100), kokkuri-san (gugure! kokkuri-san), seishuu handa (barakamon), steven a. starphase (kekkai sense), and (just for fun) korosensei (assassination classroom) ? or meliodas (nanatsu no taizai), either one 🤷

I love this man, and like other anime, I don’t know why it took me so long to watch this. I just picture a jealous Reigen when Mob is going to Kagome for spiritual advice rather than him. I am eagerly waiting for season 2!

The fact this man is voiced by the same voice actor as Sebastian Michaelis from Kuroshitsuji makes me laugh. I immediately recognized his voice! But with Kagome already having experience dealing with demons and such, Kokkuri would find her a challenge and mystery to figure out.

Okay, I didn’t think I would become attached to his character, and the more I watched this anime, his whole story hit me. I CRIED! But the humor made up for it, and one of my favorite things about this character his many emotions being shown through the change of color of his face. With Kagome, she would just make sure he was doing his job as a teacher and not teaching them lewd things. I think I’m gonna go rewatch this…

Don’t kill me, but I have yet to watch season 2, and I am salty that Netflix didn’t get it on their hands (yet). I don’t read the manga, but I did hear it gets good after where season 1 left off. Now Meliodas, it was a character I had to grow to liking because of his perverted ways, but in time, I did end up liking him. I think I just have yet to see him more in action!

Have I mentioned that Barakamon is on my top 10 anime? This anime is just wonderful, and I don’t know why it took me so long to watch it. The characters, the setting, the music, and development is amazing. Seishuu is also one of those characters you can’t help but shake your head at, but also want to hug because he is legitimately trying to do better. I just picture him needing the independent Kagome to show him how to handle house chores and with her ability to connect with others, Seishuu would need that.

Huh…never thought of this, but now that you brought it up, I am interested. I would have to re-watch the anime to see how I can connect Kagome and Wamu together. I do see a lot of Kagome in Miki so it would help with this pairing in terms of ideas.

Bless your heart for knowing this webcomic, and asking about Ian. I absolutely love this man, and my gosh, he has been through a lot. Have you caught up?! Like I don’t know what to think! Hmm, Siren’s Lament hasn’t presented itself much in my inbox so hopefully I will get more opportunities to work with this series and Inuyasha.

This man is beautiful! I absolutely love him and his maturity. Maybe that is why I got attracted to him? I immediately thought of a one-shot with him and Kagome, but who knows when I will be able to write it…just wish this series was loved more.

How come I had a feeling you would be requesting him sooner or later? I was really happy to see he had an episode dedicated to his skill and his character in season 2 (which season 2 was tastefully done), and it shows his gentle yet angry side. I love Zed and sometimes I want to beat Zapp for picking on him (then again, Zapp picks on everyone and deserves Chain’s abuse). With Kagome, I think Zapp would be picking on her because he is jealous Zed was able to get her first he-he.
Can I ask for some post-marriage/domestic headcanons for Seishuu and Kagome?

Headcanons:
- When Kagome and Seishuu married, Seishuu’s family welcomed Kagome to come live at their home, but Seishuu told them he had decided to move to where they had first met.
- Seishuu’s mother wasn’t so happy with Kagome about the idea of her son going to the country side again, but Kagome reminded her it was his idea, not hers.
- Everyone on the countryside were surprised to hear Seishuu helped Kagome (the best he could) around the house with chores.
- But Kagome never allowed him to cook since she learned he was not the best at it.
- She has tried to teach him, but it confuses her why it never comes out right.
- When Kagome is pregnant with their first child, everyone is surprised she never gets morning sickness.
- If anything, it is Seishuu who always comes around feeling sick like if he was the one pregnant.
- Naru comes in at times to take care of him while Kagome goes to her doctor appointments.
- Naru: “Sensei…if you don’t pull yourself together, you won’t be able to handle your child. After all, I am going to help raise it to be just like me!”
- No matter how many times Kagome calls him “honey” or “sweetie”, Seishuu is always blushing (mildly or hot).
- Naru: “Sensei…shouldn’t you be used to it?”
- Miwa: “It’s probably because he and everyone else thought he would always be a single virgin male.”
- Hiroshi and Tamako: “Probably.”
- Seishuu: “Shut up!”
Naru: “Nee, Kagome-onee-san, what is a virgin?”

Headcanons:
- Between Kagome and Handa, Handa is the one over worrying about the wedding plans, schedules, and the invitations.
- He sometimes scolds Kagome on how she can be so relaxed about everything.
- Kagome shrugs saying it was not her that wanted a big wedding, but his mother.
- Kagome was the one to decide Naru becoming the flower girl for their wedding.
- Since then, Naru practiced throwing flower petals as Handa practiced his calligraphy.
- It annoyed him as some of the petals would get on the ink, but he had to admit, it was cute.
- But he never admitted it out loud.
- At first, Handa had told Kagome his mother wanted a traditional wedding, but Kagome told Handa her family wanted a more modern celebration.
- Both were torn on what should be the final choice, but one day when walking outside in the beach, they saw the children playing and decided to make it on the island.
- Once Handa almost saw Kagome in her wedding dress and Kagome quickly kicked him away.
- The kids were awed to witness Kagome’s physical strength.
- Naru: “Sensei…she may be stronger than you.”
