Hey i’m so happy that the headcanons are open i’ve been wanting ti request for a while. How about inugami and kokkuri-san meeting sesshomaru and discovering kagome’s “fixation” with silver hair and petable youkai parts? I would love to see them over-reacting like always

Of course Sesshomaru would be intimidating anyone he looks at! Ha-ha!

Headcanons:

  • When they first saw Sesshomaru, they had caught Kagome talking to a man with black short hair as she was buying groceries.
    • Both had followed her after they heard some demon spirits were following her the other day and wanted to guard her.
      • When they saw the man stopping his driver as she came out, they were taken back when she put a smile on her face.
  • Both Inugami and Kokkuri thought it was secret affair and went home beginning to make conspiracy theories.
    • Kohina said it may be Kagome’s new boyfriend.
      • Inugami and Kokkuri immediately rejected the idea, but Shigaraki added that Kagome was a woman free to decided who and when to date.
        • Shigaraki: “besides, did you really have your hopes up thinking she would pick one of you two cry babies?”
  • They all met Sesshomaru when Kagome invited him over for tea.
    • Kokkuri and Inugami immediately “welcomed” him to the living room where there was a pregnant silence and only stares (mostly from Inugami and Kokkuri).
      • Inugami asked how he knew Kagome wanting to know the background story.
        • Sesshomaru: “This Sesshomaru has no reason to share those details with outsiders, let alone weak demons.”
          • That was when Kokkuri and Inugami, even Shigaraki wondered how it was he knew about their identity.
  • The moment Kagome came back with the tea, with Kohina’s help, she felt the tension.
    • Kokkuri shouted as he placed himself in front of Kagome to “protect her” saying their guest knew what they were.
      • Kagome: “of course he knows, Sesshomaru-sama is a demon as well.”
        • Silence.
  • That was when Sesshomaru showed his true self of long silver hair, ears, and markings.
    • Heads turned from Sesshomaru to Kokkuri as they found similarities and recalled the time Kagome had tried to touch Kokkuri’s ears.
      • Kokkuri: “why is it that you get happy when you see him, and not me? We are practically alike, Kagome-san!”
        • Kagome: “Huh? There is a lot of difference, and the fact you can’t see it shows you are an idiot, Kokkuri-san.”
    • Kohina: “mister dog, do you have a tail, too?”
      • Sesshomaru then finds it strange there is a young kid living in a house of three demons and a priestess.

can i request some fluff with kokkuri-san taking care of kagome while she’s sick?

Enjoy!

The heavy pants and the heat radiating off her body only created a frown on the kitsune’s lips. The girl always pushed herself to the limit and even then still ignored when her body screamed for rest. Now here she was in Kohina’s room under two layers of futons with a cool towel on her forehead. Seeing her in this weak state only worried him more on how much of her health she had been hiding.

“Seriously,” Kokkuri sighed, “you gave me a scare when I found you unconscious in the living room.”

Checking the clock on the wall of the room, he nodded. He had fifteen minutes before Kohina would get home from school. Kohina would definitely be asking questions over the girl he saw as her role model.

“Scare?”

A tired chuckle was heard from the girl under the covers; eyes lowered to find her eyes half opened with a gentle smile.

A rare smile.

“I just needed a nap.”

“Nap my ass!” Kokkuri shouted. “You were burning up, Kagome!” Huffing, the kitsune sent the priestess a mild glare. How did this girl brush off her own well-being? Ever since she had appeared into their lives, mostly to take care of Kohina, she had worked hard to make sure Kohina’s place was safe and purified. But what had suddenly had her like this? The only thing he could think of was-

“Have you been using your reiki more than usual?” He questioned.

Breaking eye contact, Kagome looked to the other side of the room. “I-I’ve been trying to practice.”

“Practice? For what?!”

Kagome’s cheeks puffed with embarrassment. Like they would understand. “It’s been a long time since I have used my abilities to their full potential. I just don’t want to lose a part of me…”

Kokkuri’s brow twitched, hearing the very tone he hated: defensive. She was definitely a stubborn one. At times she acted like the mature woman she was, but her stubborn side never seemed to fade away.

But…,’ his eyes relaxed, ‘I guess something is in her mind.’

“It’s been five years now…”

Kokkuri blinked.

“Been five years since I returned…”

He sighed again. Five years already? They were aware of her history – her deep history. A history that had shattered her in the present once she permanently returned to her era. Meeting her as Kohina’s cousin was troubling in the beginning when Kagome learned about Kohina having demon friends. It was a mix of awe and fear.

Slowly, the ice thawed, but her depression came and went.

“Five years, huh?” Kokkuri ran his fingers through his hair, watching as her eyes remained glued on the ceiling. “So you were using you reiki so you wouldn’t lose it?”

“I have no other reason to use it in this world.” She replied. “Except if I have to purify any of you in the future.”

Sweat drop looming over his head, Kokkuki nodded. That threat never went away, but if she gave it, at least it meant she was humoring them. “Hai. Hai. I recommend Inugami to be the first one.”

Chuckling back, Kagome’s eyes landed on the kitsune. “Sorry to have dropped this on you, Kokkuri-san.”

“Don’t apologize.” Taking off the rag from her forehead, he dipped it back into the bowl beside him. “I don’t mind taking care of you.”

“Yeah, I always take care of you babies.” She scoffed with a laugh.

“Don’t lump me with those two idiots.”

“Hai. Hai.” Looking at Kokkuri twist the rag free of water, her expression softened. Perhaps they were a blessing in disguise by the gods. If demons were around right now, there was a possibility her old friends would be, too.

She only hoped.

“Thank you….”

Kokkuri blinked, turning his head to the girl the moment he heard a faint appreciation. His body relaxed, content to find her sleeping with a small smile.

Hello! I hope you’ve been doing well sweetie! I’d like to put in a request for a headcanon for Kokkuri-san! and reactions to Shippo as Kagome’s son.

I am! I also hope you are doing well, hon!

Headcanons:

  • He and the others heard noises coming out from the living room, but one voice was not recognizable to them so when they went in to see, they were surprised to see a good looking male with orange hair in a high ponytail talking to the miko.
    • They weren’t sure what to think, but Kokkuri was the first to ask who he was.
      • Shippo stood up and bowed saying he was visiting his mother.
        • They all looked left and right for any sign of an older woman.
          • Kagome: “he is talking about me.”
  • Kokkuri’s shock paralyzed him even as the others talked to Shippo.
    • Kokkuri could not believe Kagome had been hiding a son from them.
      • He almost feels like he lost in terms of gaining Kagome’s love if it meant she had a lover.
  • Shippo clarifies he is adopted which brings out a lot of sighs of relief from them.
    • But he then lets them know he is also a fox.
  • Kagome chuckles as she gains another wave of confused looks from her house inmates.
    • Inugami: “well then that means she is okay with having a youkai as a mate.”
      • Kagome: “wait, that doesn’t translate to that.”
  • Even though it is still a big question how Kagome and Shippo know each other, Kokkuri tries really hard to be a good father figure for the kid (although he looks like a 25 year old).
    • Shippo: “you don’t have to feed me, Kokkuri-san.”
    • Kokkuri: “Say ah~”

for the ship thing: reigen arataka (mp100), kokkuri-san (gugure! kokkuri-san), seishuu handa (barakamon), steven a. starphase (kekkai sense), and (just for fun) korosensei (assassination classroom) ? or meliodas (nanatsu no taizai), either one 🤷

I love this man, and like other anime, I don’t know why it took me so long to watch this. I just picture a jealous Reigen when Mob is going to Kagome for spiritual advice rather than him. I am eagerly waiting for season 2!

The fact this man is voiced by the same voice actor as Sebastian Michaelis from Kuroshitsuji makes me laugh. I immediately recognized his voice! But with Kagome already having experience dealing with demons and such, Kokkuri would find her a challenge and mystery to figure out.

Okay, I didn’t think I would become attached to his character, and the more I watched this anime, his whole story hit me. I CRIED! But the humor made up for it, and one of my favorite things about this character his many emotions being shown through the change of color of his face. With Kagome, she would just make sure he was doing his job as a teacher and not teaching them lewd things. I think I’m gonna go rewatch this…

Don’t kill me, but I have yet to watch season 2, and I am salty that Netflix didn’t get it on their hands (yet). I don’t read the manga, but I did hear it gets good after where season 1 left off. Now Meliodas, it was a character I had to grow to liking because of his perverted ways, but in time, I did end up liking him. I think I just have yet to see him more in action!

Send a ship and I’ll rate it (up to 5)!

yay i was waiting for it. Kokkuri-san and inugami meeting kagome’s ‘son’ shippo and overreacting like always please. and i hope things are going better for you

I hope you like your scenario, hon!

Blink after blink, both the white kitsune and black haired inu could not help but stare – what they hated to admit – at the orange haired male across their coffee table. If it had been their choice, they would have refused to let him inside, but Kohina invited him for a cup of tea while waiting for a certain miko.

A miko they hoped would clarify things.

“Are you going to ask him?” Inugami whispered to his for-now-ally.

Kokkuri’s eyes narrowed, watching as Kohina talked with the mysterious demon. “I can’t bring myself to. I just don’t see the resemblance.”

“Fine!” Inugami huffed. “I will ask-!”

“So are you really Kagome-onee-san’s son, Shippo-san?”

Another round of blinks came from the two spirit demons. Wide eyes glued themselves on the orange haired kitsune who replied with a laugh.

Setting his cup of tea down, Shippo nodded to the little girl. “Yup.”

“Hm, I didn’t think she would be a mother.” Kohina tilted her head to the side. The miko was young, but to hear she had a son this old already was a mystery. “Well, you are very handsome.”

“Oh,” Shippo smirked, “why thank you.”

“The hell he is!” Kokkuri shouted, interrupting the small talk. “That does not answer anything! How is she your mother?!”

Shippo took a couple of seconds to stare at the two demons on the other side. He had heard the rumors of a certain miko hanging out with a young girl and other demons, but he did not believe it could have been Kagome until he heard from inside intelligence on her appearance. He had to go and check, and when Kohina told him the miko’s name, relief washed over him. After so many years, he was finally going to be reunited.

He did not plan for these two demons to be in the way.

“I call her ‘okaa-san’.” Shippo shrugged.

“You know what he means.” Inugami’s eyes narrowed as he prepared his gun. “Answer the question.”

Raising a brow at his weapon, Shippo could not help but laugh. It seemed Kagome did have a way to attract demons to her. Nodding, the kitsune sent them a smirk. “How else do you think someone gets a child?”

Kokkuri’s and Inugami’s eyes widened at his statement. Did that mean Kagome have a mate?!

Shippo was sure Kagome would hit him later for teasing the two, but he would have his fun first. After all, he was not going to let just anyone become his stepfather.
