As this precious boi doesn’t have anything, could you write a Matt (Voltron) x Kagome scenario where Matt is trying to act sexy but is miserably failing, but Kagome finds him adorable nonetheless?

Now that I think about it, he really hasn’t been requested a much…

Adjusting the tight vest and cape he wore, Matt hoped the vest did justice to his muscles and showcasing them in his glory. After hearing Kagome complementing Shiro’s new attire after becoming captain in the Garrison, he hoped he could get some brownie points from her.

“It won’t work.”

Matt’s expression soured before turning his head to the right and seeing his younger sister clicking away on her tablet. “No one asked you, Pidge.”

“Just stating a fact.” Pidge shrugged before her eyes met the nervous state her brother was in. “She doesn’t like it when people try too hard to get her attention. She told me this.”

Matt’s brow crooked upwards. Was that true? Or was Pidge playing with him to make him look like a fool? He had to agree that Kagome was a tough person to impress, especially when she was such a strong woman who held no fear. Her courage easily triumphed their own – collectively.

Tapping his shoe on the tile, he dug deep in his head. Did he have to work out more? Perhaps tighter clothing that would make his muscles bulge? Longer hair? Grow a beard? Cook? Cook naked with only an apron?

“Stop,” Pidge shook her head, “you are thinking too hard.”

Matt clicked his tongue, “my dear sis, to impress the ladies, we gotta showcase what we have to offer, body, mind, and soul.”

“What trash are you reading?” The corner of her lips twitched.

Snapping his fingers, Matt pointed his finger at Pidge. “Let me borrow the lions!”

“No!” She quickly objected. “The lions are not to be used for your picnic and date use! They are the saviors of the universe!”

“Exactly, Pidge! The would be saving my universe!”

Hearing a muffled snicker behind them, both Pidge and Matt turned to find their audience standing under the door frame of the lobby. Pidge’s eyes landed on her brother who had become frozen upon realizing his audience was not only the other paladins, Allura, and Coran, but the girl of their talk was standing with her hand hiding her laugh.

“Good luck, brother.” She smirked before patting his arm.

“The lions do not cater to your romance, Matt!” Lance shouted. “They do that for me!”

“No they don’t.” Keith crossed his arms.

Lance raised a brow, “don’t be jealous because you can’t romance anyone up, okay?”

Ignoring the rest of the comments around her, Kagome could not help but let the small laughs puff out of her lips. She felt seeing Matt’s face redden, but she also thought it was cute he was trying so hard to impress her. If only he was not as oblivious to see that he had indeed captured her attention with his rescue missions and courage.

Then again, she was oblivious to his advances until Hunk and Lance had made a comment. So perhaps Matt needed a little eye opener as well.

Good morning Mizuki-san!!! Please bear with me since this is my first ask. I know the difference between a HC and a scenario, but I feel like everything I come up with keeps sounding like a scenario request dangit!! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ Would you please write a headcanon of the reaction to Kosmo (Voltron) actually being Kagome? I feel like it would be Keith to find out first buuuuuut feel free to choose another paladin and how they exactly find out. Thank you ♡ ~(˘▾˘~)

This is an interesting thought and one I would be on board with! Hope you like the headcanons!

Headcanons:

  • The first to find out about Kosmo actually being a “human”, was Hunk. 
    • When Kosmo was left in Hunk’s care inside his lion, he found a female human with long black hair and neon blue streaks on her hair and skin sleeping in the back.
      • He screamed through the communicators, alerting everyone.
        • But he quickly told them he just got scared because the mice were playing a trick on him.
  • Hunk decided he wanted to find out first if it was really Kosmo before saying anything else. 
    • He cautiously went to her unsure how to approach, but Kagome woke up and they were in a silent staring contest.
      • Until Hunk finally called out her as “Kosmo” and she nodded.
        • Kagome: “well if you would like to call me that still, I don’t mind.”
        • Hunk: “SHE SPEAKS!”
          • And all the paladins overheard his last sentence wondering who the hell Hunk was talking to.
  • Hunk, after getting Kagome’s story of how she was a wolf and such, later had the other paladins stop so he could introduce Kagome.
    • Hunk came out with a wide smile and telling everyone, “yo! The wolf is a pretty girl!”
    • Keith: “we know that.”
    • Hunk: “no! No! No! Like an actual girl! Human!”
      • That is when everyone saw Kagome coming out with the mice on her shoulders and on the top of her head while wearing a simple Altean suit that Hunk had given her from the back of his storage. 
  • Everyone was amazed that Kosmo had transforming abilities, but Keith was silent the whole time and stayed back.
    • That was until Kagome faced him and simply smiled. 
      • Lance took the opportunity to point out how he applauded Kagome for being able to get Keith speechless.
